Commonly used acid-base indicators- Litmus, phenolphthalein.
Naturally occurring indicators :
Turmeric - It is yellow in acidic solutions and red in basic solutions.
Red onion water- It is red in acidic solutions, violet in neutral solutions, and green in basic solutions.
