(a) Alloys used for making aeroplane:

1. Nickel steel: It is made up of $97\%$ iron, $1\%$ carbon, and $2\%$ nickel. It is used as it is hard, and corrosion resistant.
2. Duralumin: It is made up of $95\%$ aluminium, $0.5\%$ magnesium, $0.5\%$ manganese, and $4\%$ copper. It is used as it is light and strong.
3. Magnalium: It is made up of $95\%$ aluminium,$20\%$ magnesium. It is also light and hard.
