What is an artificial magnet? State two reasons why do we need artificial magnets.

It is a magnetized piece of iron or any other magnetic material. We need artificial magnets because of the following two reasons:
1. Natural magnets are not very strong magnetically, artificial magnets can be made strong.
2. Natural magnets occur in odd and irregular shapes, artificial magnets on the other hand can be given desired shapes.
