Aryabhata launched on 19.04.1975 was the first Indian satellite. Bhaskara-I launched on 07.06.1979 was the first experimental remote sensing satellite. Bhaskara-II launched on 20.11.1981 was the second experimental remote sensing satellite similar to Bhaskara-1.
