Connective tissue:

  1. The tissues that connect different tissues and organs of the body are called connective tissues.
  2. The different types of connective tissues found in human bodies include areolar connective tissue, adipose tissue, cartilages, dense regular tissues, irregular tissues, and fluid connective tissue.

Fluid connective tissue (Blood) :

  1. The special connective tissue consists of a liquid matrix called plasma in which red blood cells and white blood cells are suspended.
  2. The blood plasma contains Hormones, proteins, and other salts.

Example: Lymph :

  1. The type of fluid connective tissue is a colorless fluid containing lymphoid cells ( B lymphocytes and T lymphocytes).
  2. It acts as a carrier of nutrients and hormones.
