Anther:

Stamens are a male part, which consists of an anther at the top which is oval in shape, and a stack or filament at the bottom.
The filament helps in supporting the anther.
The anther comprises sac-like structures known as microsporangia which produce pollen for the process of pollination to occur.
Its main function is to produce and disperse pollen.
