What is Anti-defection law

In order to curb the practices like the crossing the floor of parliament by changing the party in the mid of the session the Anti Defection Law has been made. The member can be disqualified on the ground of defection from the house. Schedule 10 of the Indian Constitution talks about the Anti Defection Law.
