Given, the diameter of the circle is 14 m.

We know that, the radius of the circle(r) is half of its diameter(d).
r=d2
=142
=7 m

The area of the circle is given by
A=πr2
=π×72
=π×49
=227×49 (given,π=227)
=227×7×7
=22×7
=154 sq. m

Hence, the area of the given circle is 154 sq. m.
