  1. It is a rod-shaped, aerobic, or facultative anaerobes, which belongs to a group of Gram-positive bacteria.
  2. These bacteria are widely found in the soil and water. Bacillus Thuringiensis is an aerobic,
  3. Gram-positive & spore-forming bacteria. It is commonly known as Bt. It is found in the soil, water, insect feces, insects, plant surfaces, etc.
  4. It is also widely used as a bioinsecticide to control the infestation of butterfly caterpillars. Caterpillars eat spores sprayed onto plants and get killed.
