Open in App
Solution

C-Value paradox:

  1. Each species of organism has a characteristic content of DNA, which is constant in all the individuals of that species and has thus been called the C-value.
  2. The amount or content of DNA of a species is not indicative of the number of genes it possesses, hence is called the C-value paradox.
  3. The C-value is the amount of DNA in the haploid genome of an organism.
