Open in App
Solution

Centripetal force is defined as the force acting on the body moving in a circular path and is directed towards the centre around which the body is moving.
Mathematically, centripetal force is given by F=mv2r
where r is the radius of circular path in which the body is moving and m and v are the mass and velocity of that body, respectively.
