What is chiral carbon and what are d and l glucose?

Right aashi and small d and l glucose represents dextrorotatory and levorotatory. And difference between D and L is position of hydroxyl group on 5th carbon. If the position of hydroxyl is on right side then its D glucose and its mirror image is L type.
