Compressibility: It is the ability to compress a substance by reducing it to a lower volume when force is applied.
The particles of solid are tightly held together.
The spaces between the particles are very less or negligible as they have a definite shape.
The intermolecular force of attraction between the particles is very strong and particles cannot move freely.
So, we can say that compressibility is negligible in solids.
