Solution

Corymbose raceme:

  1. This inflorescence is present in the mustard family (Brassicaceae).
  2. The corymbose raceme is the type of racemose inflorescence whereby the monopodial peduncle terminates into the flower and is indefinite.
  3. Flowers grow in an acropetal manner ( new flowers are borne on the tip while the older ones are at the base).
  4. The flowers are arranged in a centripetal fashion with mature flowers at the periphery and younger are in middle.
  5. The flowers are not generally in groups.
  6. In corymbose raceme younger flowers look like corymb raceme (all the flowers lie at the same level as the pedicles of lower flowers are longer. All the pedicellate flowers lie in an acropetal fashion on the unbranched peduncle) but in mature flowers, lower flowers aren't brought up to the level of the upper flowers by a long pedicle.
