Solution

When soap is dissolved in water,at lower concentration it act as a strong electrolyte. But at higher concentration of soap in water, it act as a colloid. It is due to the formation of micelles.

-Concentration above which micelle formation takes place is called Critial Micelle Concentration(CMC).

-
At higher concentrations, large no.of soap molecules are associated by using their non polar ends to form micelles.
