Open in App
Solution

Charle's Darwin popularised the term 'natural selection' which he contrasted with the artificial selection. According to this theory, Variation is the feature of a natural population and more progeny are produced from every population then the environment can manage. The variation is heritable due to phenotypic variation among the individual. The heritable traits of an individual are better suited for survival in the environment.
