What are deforming force and restoring force?
Deforming force:
Whenever a force is applied to a material body, the same usual location of its molecules changes. Whether this results in such a modification or alteration in the length, volume, or body shape, the force delivered is generally referred to as deforming force.
Example: A bent pencil, mild steel rods, etc.
Restoring force:
Whenever deformation forces were indeed reduced, the force that restores the dimensions, as well as the shape of the body, is usually referred to as restoring force.
Example: The motion of a spring.
