Solution

Dear student,

Scorpioid chyme is a type of inflorescence where a flowering branch shows a zigzag pattern because flowers developed on opposite sides of the rachis. Here the new daughter axis develops alternatively. e.g, Henbane.

Helicoid chyme is a type of inflorescence where a flowering branch give rise to one coiled snail like lateral branch which further expands. Here the new daughter axis develops on the same side. e.g, Begonia.
