What is difference between molecule , atom and mole

A mole is just a number, like a "dozen" eggs is 12 eggs. One mole corresponds to Avogadro's number, 6.02x10^23. In chemistry, one mole of a substance means that there are 6.02x10^23 of those molecules present.


an atom is an individual element.
eg:- Oxygen atom (O)
A molecule is a collection of bonded atoms.
eg:- oxygen molecule (O2)
