1. Diffusion is the process of movement of the molecules under a concentration gradient.
2. It helps in the movement of substances in and out of the cells.
3. The molecules flow from a region of a higher concentration to a lower concentration till then the concentration becomes equal.
4. Liquid and gases undergo diffusion as the molecules are able to move randomly.
