Solution
Hardy-Weinberg law deals with the variation of gene frequency from one generation to the other. The law clearly states that allele and genotype frequencies in a population will remain constant from generation to generation, in the absence of other evolutionary influence.
When there is disturbance or change in the gene frequency this indicates mutation or evolution. Any mutation or genetic change can be caused due to calamity or any other genetic drift. This results in the change of the gene frequency when the population is considered.
