What is dormancy ?
IS their any difference between dormancy and non- dormancy?

Dear Student,

A state of reduced metabolic activity adopted by many single celled organisms or cells/ tissues of plants under the conditions of environmental stress is called dormancy. Whereas in case of non-dormant state none of the metabolic activity of the plant gets reduced as dormant state is adopted by the plant to endure the stress.
