There are 3 components of the ecosystem.

2. Biotic components
3. Energy components

Abiotic components: Abiotic components include the non-living, inorganic, physical, and chemical factors in the environment. Eg, land and water.

Biotic components: Biotic components include living things in the environment. Eg, plants and animals.

Energy components: The Sun is the primary source of energy for the biosphere. Sun’s energy gets transformed into other forms of energy through the various components in the ecosystem.
