The effects of global warming on sea level are as follows:

  3. A rise of even half a meter in sea level will cause an increasing number of floods in various cities across the world.
  4. Coastal salt marshes and estuaries might disappear.
  5. It might lead to the disappearance of breeding grounds of various birds and fishes, ultimately causing their extinction.
