What is emulsification of fats?

Open in App
Solution

Emulsification of fat:

  1. Liver produces a greenish-yellow fluid called bile juice and it is stored in gall bladder.
  2. It lacks enzymes for the digestion of food.
  3. Bile helps in the breakdown of large fat globules into tiny fat droplets so that enzymes can act on them easily. This process is called emulsification of fats.
