Endoscopy is the method in which there is an optical fibre which is inserted in the body to take images of the respective part. There is an optical fibre which is attached with a camera and other surgical apparatus. The image is observed on a monitor and the surgery is performed at the precise location. It is a non-invasive technique.

An artificial pacemaker is a device which is used to control the heart beat. It is a placed when there is impairment in the SA node of the heart. In certain patients, the heartbeat is affected due to blockage of certain areas and thus, the impulse is not conducted properly. The artificial pacemaker contains a battery and a generator. The battery causes the generator to pump the conduction of impulses. This allows the ventricles to contract and the heart beat is produced.
