Wave energy:
Ocean waves are generated by winds as they blow across the sea. Waves are a powerful source of energy. Electricity can also be produced from wave energy. At a wave power station, waves cause the water in the chamber to rise and fall, which means that air is forced in and out of the hole located at the top of the chamber. A turbine placed in this hole is turned by the movement of air rushing in and out. The turbine turns a generator to produce electricity.
