What is formula for resistance ?? Also tell what is dimension of it?

Dear Student,

$$\begin{gathered} R=\rho \frac{l}{A} \\ where, \\ \rho -resistivityofmaterial \\ l-length \\ A-crosssectionarea \end{gathered}$$

As,
$R=\frac{V}{I}$
V=E.d=$\frac{Force}{charge}\times dis\tan ce$
And,
charge=current$\times$time
The dimensional formula for resistance is,
$$\begin{gathered} \frac{\left[M^1{L}^1{T}^{-2}\right]\left[L^1\right]}{\left[I^1{T}^1\right]\left[I^1\right]} \\ =\left[M^1{L}^2{T}^{-3}{I}^{-2}\right] \end{gathered}$$
