Garbage

  1. Any substance which is of no use is considered waste. Garbage can be degradable or non-degradable.

Biodegradable waste:

  1. Biodegradable waste or organic substances in the waste that can be converted into manure.
  2. Leaves, vegetable peels, leftover food, rotten fruits and vegetables, plants, and animals waste (cow dung, dead animals) are biodegradable waste.

Non- biodegradable waste:

  1. Wastes that cannot be decomposed or take a longer time to decay are non-biodegradable waste.
  2. Examples of these components are glass, plastics, aluminum foil, metal, etc.
