Garbage
- Any substance which is of no use is considered waste. Garbage can be degradable or non-degradable.
Biodegradable waste:
- Biodegradable waste or organic substances in the waste that can be converted into manure.
- Leaves, vegetable peels, leftover food, rotten fruits and vegetables, plants, and animals waste (cow dung, dead animals) are biodegradable waste.
Non- biodegradable waste:
- Wastes that cannot be decomposed or take a longer time to decay are non-biodegradable waste.
- Examples of these components are glass, plastics, aluminum foil, metal, etc.
