What is ginning? Where it is used?

Solution
Ginning:
This process is used in the processing of cotton.
The machine differentiates cotton fibres from the seed balls and dust particles allowing greater productivity than manual cotton production.
However, the gin should also be equipped to remove any extraneous matter from the cotton that would diminish the value of the ginned lint.
The separated seeds are utilized to grow more cotton or to manufacture cottonseed oil.
The ginner must fulfill two objectives: to produce a satisfactory quality of lint and to gin the cotton with minimum reduction in fibre.
