Solution
Global warming is the process of rising in the temperature of the earth surface. This occurs due to the Greenhouse effect (trapping of sunlight and an increase in the temperature). This affects the living beings in many ways. Few effects are as follows:
It increases the temperature of the earth and results in the melting of the glaciers.
It decreases the yield of certain crops and thus causes scarcity of food among peoples.
It also increases the level of sea due to the melting of the glaciers. Due to an increase in sea level, few of the countries are on the stake of drowning thus affecting a large number of population.
It causes certain diseases and disorders like malaria, malnutrition, skin diseases, eye cataract etc.
