Solution
Goose flesh is a state of skin in which the hair follicles becomes straight and upright forming bumps on the skin.
It usually occurs due to cold or during any emotion.
It happens when the erectors contract.
These erectors are muscles that are obliquely arranged and located between the outer part of the dermis and the base of hair follicles.
When goose flesh occurs, these erectors contract due to which hair get pulled up and depress the epidermis.
