Gravity, also called gravitation, is a force that exists among all material objects (having mass) in the universe. For any two objects or particles having nonzero mass, the force of gravitation tends to attract them towards each other.
Universal Law of Gravitation
1. Any two objects attract each other with a gravitational force, directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
2. The force acts in the direction of the line connecting the centres of the masses.
