Open in App
Solution

Dear student,
The pressure develops as a result of the force of the blood push against the walls of the artery as the blood gets pumped by the heart . This pressure is known as high blood pressure.
An increase in normal blood pressure (120mmHg/80mmHg) will cause high blood pressure. Systolic blood pressure will be 140mmHg or higher and diastolic will be 90mmHg or higher.
