Solution

Human lung:

  1. The lungs are a pair of air-filled, spongy organs on either side of the chest (thorax).
  2. Through its tubular branches, known as bronchi, the trachea (windpipe) transports breathed air into the lungs.
  3. The bronchi is divided into more smaller branches called bronchioles.
  4. From the bronchioles, the inhaled air passes to the elastic air sacs in lungs known as alveoli.
