Hypertension or High blood pressure is a condition in which there is a persistent rise in blood pressure in the arteries. Symptoms of severe hypertension can include headaches, shortness of breath, nosebleeds, chest pain, visual changes, blood in the urine. When the blood pressure so high that it is in the uncontrolled state it can lead to stroke by damaging and weakening our brain's blood vessels, causing them to narrow, rupture or leak.
