Solution
The organs and cells or processes of the body that help provide resistance against foreign antigens are known as the immune system.
The two main kinds of immune systems are the innate immune system and the acquired immune system.
The innate immune system is the one that involves all the features or cells that are present from birth and the acquired immune system is one that is acquired during the lifetime of a person.
The B cells or B lymphocytes help in generating an immune response by binding to the antigen and generating antibodies against the antigen. The T-cells or T lymphocytes on the other hand help the body generate an immune response either by killing the foreign cells (cytotoxic T cells) or by helping the B cells generate antibodies (Helper T cells).
