Incomplete dominance is a type of inheritance in which one allele is not completely expressed over its paired allele for a specific trait or character. In this, the F${}_1$ hybrid have characters intermediate of the parental genes.

For example, flower colour. RR genotype shows red colour flower and WW genotype shows white colour flower. However, in F${}_1$ generation, RW genotype shows pink colour flower.
