International Monetary Fund i.e. IMF is an international organisation established to ensure the financial and monetary cooperation between countries of the world and promoting international trade with sustainable economic growth. It has a membership of 188 nations with its headquarter in Washington D.C. USA. It was formed in the year 1944 as an outcome of the Bretton Woods Conference. It comprises of a Board of governors to take the major decisions with one governor and one governor for all the member nations. It takes the major decisions of the organisation.
