Solution

The correct option is B Excommunication
When a Church member is banned from Church activities including sermons and rituals, it is called Excommunication. With the growing popularity of the Protestant Movement, in January 1520, a Papal Commission appointed by Pope Leo X reviewed the Ninety-Five Theses and rejected 41 propositions. Luther received a decree called the Papal Bull from the Church. The Papal Bull decreed that he had 60 days to withdraw the document and 60 more days to report the withdrawal. Feeling unhappy and threatened, Luther burned the decree publicly. As soon as the Church learnt about it, they banned Luther from Church activities including sermons and rituals.
