Limitations of ohm's law are:
Ohm's law is applicable for a constant temperature,that is if temperature changes,ohm's law is not valid.
Not applicable on non-metallic conductors.
Not applicable for non-linear devices like diodes etc.
When a potential difference is applied across a conductor,then an electric field is established due to which every free electron acquires a definite velocity in a particular direction, this is known as drift velocity.
