Solution

Luminous objects:

  1. Luminous objects are those which emit light on their own.
  2. They won't take the help of other objects to emit the light.
  3. The light coming out from the luminous objects strikes non-luminous objects and reflect from them to our eyes, so we are able to see the objects around us.
Example:- Sun, Stars, Burning candles, Fire, etc.

Note: The moon is not a luminous object as it does not emit its own light. It reflects the sunlight falling on it. Hence, the moon is a non-luminous object.
