Solution

Luminous objects:

  1. Luminous objects are those which emit light on their own. They won't take the help of other objects to emit the light.
  2. Example:- stars, burning candles etc.

Non-luminous objects:

  1. A non-luminous object is one that does not produce its own light, although it can still reflect light from other sources.
  2. The Moon is an example of a non-luminous object; we can only see the Moon because it reflects light from the Sun (which is a luminous object).
  3. Planets are also non-luminous objects.
