Solution

Monohybrid cross is cross dealing with one character at a one time. For example: Color of Flower, Plant Height, Seed texture etc.Dihybrid Cross is cross dealing with two characters at a given time. For example: Yellow and round seeded plant is crossed with Green and wrinkle seeded plant. Here color of flower (yellow and green) and texture of seed (round and wrinkle) are two characters of the plant used in one cross.

Or

Monohybrid cross

Monohybrid cross is a cross of two individuals with different alleles of a single trait.

Eg:-Mendel crossed pure tall plant with pure dwarf plant. He expected plants of intermediate

height, in F1 generation but to his surprise all the plants were tall.

Dihybrid cross

Dihybrid cross is a cross of two individual differing in two different contrasting pair of character.

Eg: crossing of Mendel with with green pod colour (GG) and yellow seed colour (YY), resulting in the formation of offspring which were heterozygous for green pod colour and yellow seeds (GgYy).
