What is meant by convection, conduction, and radiation?

Convection: Convection is a method of heat transfer by mass motion of a fluid such as air or water when the heated fluid is caused to move away from the source of heat, carrying energy with it. Convection above a hot surface occurs because hot air expands, becomes less dense, and rises.
Conduction: The movement caused within a fluid by the tendency of hotter and therefore less dense material to rise, and colder, denser material to sink under the influence of gravity, which consequently results in the transfer of heat.
Radiation: The emission of energy as electromagnetic waves or as moving subatomic particles, especially high-energy particles which cause ionization is known as radiation.
