Definition:- Interactions between the constituent particles is called intermolecular interactions.
Role of Intermolecular Interaction:-
Intermolecular Interaction tells us the force of attraction present between the particles of different states such as solid, liquid, or gas. For eg:- Intermolecular interaction in solids is very tight or strong due to which they are hard and similarly intermolecular interactions tell us about the nature of the liquid and gaseous states.
