a. The constitution saves us from ourselves , implies that it ensures rule of law prevails.
b. Constitution ensures that system does not run according anybody's whims and fancies but as per the norms, rules laid down.
c. Further, it prevents tyranny of majority,
d. It ensures that everybody's interests is looked after and also ensures that decision taken is in the larger interest of public good.
e. It prevents us from making any decision in haste which may be detrimental to the society at large.
f. For instance we decide to have a dictatorial regime, which is not in the interest of the larger good. Constitution thus would prevent us from taking such extreme steps as it would be against the principles laid down in it.
