Rearing :

  1. Bringing up, raising, and taking care of animals is known as rearing.
  2. For example, sheep are reared in many parts of India.
  3. They are fed leaves, pulses, corn, and jawar.
  4. In winters they keep indoors and fed dry fodder.

Sheering:

  1. The fleece of the sheep along with a thin layer of skin is removed from its body.
  2. This process is called shearing
  3. Sheering has done to get wools from the sheep.

Sericulture:

  1. The rearing of silkworms for obtaining silk is called sericulture.
  2. Silkworm larvae produce silk to form cocoons.
  3. Silkworms are reared on mulberry trees.
  4. Because the silkworms feed on the leaves of the mulberry trees.
  5. Bombyx mori is a commonly used silkworm species in sericulture.
