(i) Rearing:
The process of keeping, feeding, breeding, and medical care, etc. for the commercial purposes like meat and other useful products.


(ii) Shearing :
The process of removing the fleece of a sheep along with a layer of dead skin is called as shearing. The machines like those used by barbers are used to shave off hair.


Sericulture:
The rearing of silkworms for obtaining silk is called sericulture. It is also known as silk farming.
