Open in App
Solution

The policy of Appeasement was the diplomatic policy of making a concession to the enemy country in order to avoid war. It was a policy followed by Britain and France during 1935–39.
This policy allowed Hitler to violate terms of the treaty of Versailles so that he would not do anything worse. The motive of the policy was to establish peace and to ensure that humanity did not face another world war.
